Bio

Daniel Howlett is a multi-instrumentalist with over 25 years of experience in producing, performing, composing, recording, and teaching. He has produced music for recording artists, commercials, video games, film, theatre and dance. His composition and production credits cover a diverse range of genres including Folk, Americana, Country, Blues, Hip Hop, EDM, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Alternative, Reggae, Soul, African, and Brazilian music. Specializing in guitar, keys, percussion, banjo, mandolin, and voice, Daniel brings depth of sound to any project.

Daniel has worked and performed with artists such as Randy Bachman, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Blackalicious, Stephen Fearing, Valdy and Penny Lang.

Corporate/creative clients include Cadillac, Booster Juice, Holmes on Homes, Rubu by Gepeto, Guayaki and Concord CityPlace.

Born and raised in the city of Toronto, Daniel’s career has taken him to Montreal, Argentina, Nelson, and now beautiful Salt Spring Island, BC, where he operates a small music production studio.
